On 29 September, the subsidiaries of the 25 countries in which Samsic operates met in Rennes for an international meeting.
The day ended with an award ceremony in honour of the “CSR Meetings” part one winners. As part of the Group’s aim to develop increasingly sustainable and responsible partnerships, participants had to set up CSR Meetings with potential and current clients and meet their needs through sustainable projects in line with the Group’s CSR commitments.
Employee response was stellar for the challenge: almost 900 CSR Meetings were organised and more than 1,250 CSR commitments were offered to our clients throughout Europe and beyond. The participants with the best CSR Meetings performances won an award and a host of other prizes (electric bikes, spa treatments, and hand-crafted bags made from recycled boat sails). The jury also recognised the quality of the projects which were presented during the country CEO auditions - France won the Innovation prize, Poland the Social prize and Switzerland was awarded the Environment prize. The UK and Morocco took home the jury’s Special and Most Promising awards respectively, to encourage them to continue their hard work.
