The FEP (French Federation of Cleaning Companies) presented CSR Awards for cleaning on 20 June in Chamonix. Samsic won 3rd place for setting up a team dedicated to developing an apprenticeship programme for youth insertion and employment seekers.
Samsic Group is fully committed to promoting the employability of young people and attracting and training future talent.
In 2017, Samsic Facility developed its engagements by creating an apprenticeship programme and structure to roll out a concrete apprenticeship approach across France, create sustainable employment and make cleaning and security jobs more attractive.
The current team coordinates and assists all Samsic Facility agencies with recruitment, management and apprentice supervision. For example, the team helped three Samsic Santé agencies to set up two CAP "Cleaning and Security Agent" classes for 15 apprentices in almost 13 Île-de-France customer sites.
In 2018, Samsic Facility employed 500 apprentices which is an increase of 52% between 2017 and 2018.
We sincerely thank the FEP jury for awarding us 3rd place in the CSR Awards. We'll be stepping up the programme in the coming years!
