SUPPORTING MEDICAL RESEARCH
We are co-founders and patrons of the Bretagne Atlantique Ambition fund, which encourages research and innovation in Western France. It supports projects in the medical field. Bretagne Atlantique Ambition supports research on neurological diseases such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and multiple sclerosis, by recruiting young researchers from the INCR - Institut des Neurosciences Cliniques de Rennes.
CARING FOR FORESTS
Aware of the climate emergency and the need to protect the planet, we want to contribute, on our own scale, to the restoration of forests and the preservation of ecosystems by launching our "Caring for Forest" programme. Planting 100,000 trees is the challenge we have set ourselves. This programme will last for 3 years and the planting will take place mainly in the territories where Samsic is established: Europe (Portugal, Spain, Poland, etc.) and North Africa (Morocco).
And to accomplish this ambitious challenge, we are collaborating with Reforest'Action, a partner actor of the United Nations Decade for the Restoration of Ecosystems, which proposes and ensures the implementation of reforestation projects as well as their follow-up.

Samsic UK and its "10 million steps for children"
In 2020, Samsic UK supported the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity, which helps families whose children have a serious or terminal illness. A number of challenges were taken up during the year (bungee jumping, cycle race, marathon, swimming competition) to raise funds. Samsic UK took up the "10 million steps for children" challenge and raised over €5,800 by walking more than 13 million steps in one month!
Supporting the values of sport and teamwork
Our business is based on people who work hard and where the sense of collective effort and organisation make all the difference. So it makes sense for us to support sports clubs, all known for their performance in their fields. Since 2004, we have been the main sponsor of the Stade Rennais and also the oldest partner of League 1.
In 2017, we became one of the co-sponsors of the Arkea-Samsic Breton cycling team for a period of three years.

SUPPORTING ARTISTIC CREATION
Since 2003, Samsic has been supporting artists to promote access to culture through the "Entrepreneurs Mécènes" association. Each year, an exhibition of monumental sculptures entitled "Jardin des Arts" is staged in the Ar Milin' park in Châteaubourg, in Ille-et-Vilaine.
