Samsic Group is further strengthening its international development strategy with the acquisition of ISS Facility Services in Portugal. With the acquisition of ISS Facility Services Portugal, leader in Facility Management, the Samsic Group now holds the n°1 position on the Portuguese market.
Already operating in 27 countries, Samsic stands as a leading European player in integrated business services for companies. Since its creation in 1986, this French group has been pursuing its ambition to develop its offer not only in France but also worldwide.
Samsic was established in Portugal in 2008 and covers today the entire territory with 10 operational agencies and a head office based in Lisbon.
By taking over ISS Facility Services Portugal, Samsic becomes the leader in the Portuguese market, with a turnover of 100 million euros, and expands the scope of its activities especially in the multi-technical sector. The group integrates six new sites employing 4,000 people, thus extending its presence throughout the country and solidly consolidating its teams. In total, there are now more than 10,000 people working for the Samsic Group in Portugal.
Samsic is now one of the 400 largest companies out of the 1.3 million in the country, all sectors included. Samsic has thus become one of the 5 largest employers in Portugal.
