Could you tell us about the latest Samsic CSR news in september?
There are three major initiatives:
- The launch and implementation of "Samsic Planet 2030", an ambitious programme aimed at offering our clients eco-responsible services and at meeting our employees' expectations of a more sustainable working environment.
- The launch of our CSR platform, a project aimed at improving the consolidation of the group's extra-financial indicators across all countries, thus ensuring an even more accurate management of our CSR performance.
- The awards ceremony of the ''Rencontres RSE'', a challenge open to all our international subsidiaries aimed at developing sustainable partnerships and committing to responsible actions in a joint effort with our clients.
Could you tell us more about the "Samsic Planet 2030" programme?
Our CSR approach is structured around 4 axes and 13 commitments in line with 8 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In light of climate change, we are stepping up our efforts in support of the environment by launching our new sustainable development programme called "Samsic Planet 2030 ".
We have already launched numerous projects such as the development of our range of eco-friendly services, the reducing of the carbon impact generated by our premises, the publication of a Guide to Better Green Practices, the strengthening of our green procurement policy, and many other actions supporting circular economy, mobility and biodiversity. Each of these projects involves and brings together all our subsidiaries, branches and employees.
How do your employees feel about this powerful environmental focus?
Great actually! The momentum is here and the motivation of our employees is very strong. There is a genuine desire to take swift action to enhance our environmental responsibility. The "Samsic Planet Community", rooted in the concept of sharing and co-construction, is being founded right now and is expected to become a driving force for cohesion and responsible innovations. In addition, Samsic's reforestation project, with the planting of 100,000 trees in different countries, will be a fantastic opportunity to involve all Samsic teams in the preservation of biodiversity, wherever they are located in the world.
