The Internet of Things, commonly abbreviated as IoT, refers to the connection of devices to the Internet. The company Adaptiv System, founded in 2016, has been supporting Samsic Group since December 2019 in the development and production of connected IoT solutions to better respond to our clients' challenges. The Internet of Things, commonly abbreviated as IoT, refers to the connection of devices to the Internet. Artificial intelligence is at the very core of their approach. Their expertise lies in designing and producing tailor-made solutions as well as supporting large-scale implementations on complex projects.

Interview with Jean-Baptiste Léonelli, Founder of Adaptiv Systems.

What does your partnership with Samsic involve?

We support Samsic in its digital transformation by developing solutions tailored to its different markets and activities. We also create a global ecosystem by providing operational staff with a single platform to capture data and develop intelligent algorithms for services and solutions.

How do you respond to the needs for service innovation and development solutions for Samsic's activities?

We monitor technological developments worldwide. In collaboration with the Innovation Team, we also analyse feedback from the field. Our task force assists Samsic in bidding for tenders by providing ad hoc solutions within 48 hours. We co-construct solutions to control and streamline data flows, create value in services and enable the teams to be more independent.

Could you give us some examples of projects?

In the supermarket sector for instance, we have developed a system for managing the volume of interior shopping trolleys which has enabled us to reassign the Operative who was assigned to this task to carry out other duties. In the nuclear industry, the "e-T'as tout?” solution verifies that personnel entering a controlled area are wearing all the necessary equipment. In the transport sector, our "Sign Bus" traceability system checks cleaning and control operations.

What does the future hold?

The demand for connected technology is strong, especially for real-time reporting on the quality of services provided. We have developed a catalogue of unique intelligent solutions for Samsic: ranging from the simple sensor for performance quality control to sophisticated cameras capable of identifying complex items in real time and anticipating critical situations.

This partnership, one of a kind on the market, sets a strong competitive differentiation in bidding for tenders. Its purpose: to help Samsic stay a step ahead.
