With the publication of its annual social responsibility report, Samsic unveils its new sustainable development programme called " Samsic Planet 2030 ": it is environmentally ambitious, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Climate Agreement.
Through this programme, Samsic has set 4 major environmental objectives, aiming to offer its clients more eco-responsible services and to provide its employees with a greener working environment:
- Increasing our eco-responsible services by 30% by 2025,
- Reducing the carbon footprint of our offices by 30% by 2030,
- Contributing to the circular economy by developing and providing recycling solutions by 2030,
- Committing to support reforestation in 100% of the countries where we operate by 2025.
Major strategic projects have already been initiated, such as achieving European Ecolabel certification by 2023 for 50 sites where Samsic provides cleaning services. Samsic has also introduced an ecological impact calculator for our whole range of services, and created the "Samsic Planet Community" bringing together all our employees committed to promoting biodiversity and eco-citizenship.
