After several months of discussions with Ms Appéré, Mayor of Rennes, and Mr Couet, President of Rennes Métropole, Samsic has just announced its intention to open a new head office in the new EuroRennes business park, near the train station in 2023.
Being part of such a large-scale project enables the Samsic Group to achieve its international growth targets, without leaving its roots in Brittany.
The Rennes train station will connect Rennes and Paris to reach Europe and the rest of the world.
The 30,000 m² project, divided into five buildings, includes a 26-floor high-rise building, housing, shops, a hotel and a panoramic restaurant. Approximately 15,000 m² will be dedicated to the Samsic Group's activities, thus creating new jobs.
Moreover, an employment centre, an innovative concept currently under development within the group, will centralize the global career support services in order to provide candidates with improved guidance and training and thus better meet the needs of our customers.
“It was very important to us to participate in an iconic architectural development and a meaningful social, economic and cultural project. As a major business in the region, we are proud to contribute to the creation of the EuroRennes district, thereby enhancing the city's image and visibility,” says Christian Roulleau, CEO of the Samsic Group.
The current head office, located in Cesson-Sévigné, will continue to house the group's support services. All jobs will of course be preserved.
