It's no secret that our goal is Paris, so let's be proud to support our athletes!
Sport is a fundamental part of the Samsic Group's identity. As you are aware, we have been committed for over a year now to supporting 10 elite athletes in their sports training through the French Sports Foundation’s Performance Pact. We look forward to cheering some of them on at the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris!
By supporting these athletes, we are helping to foster an environment that champions excellence, embraces challenges with determination, and turns the boldest dreams into reality. This also allows the Samsic Group to continue to demonstrate its commitment to sport, through each and every athlete.
Five of them have already been selected for the Paris Games this summer: Romane Dicko in Judo, Estelle Mossely in Boxing, Cyril Jonard in Para judo, and Trésor Makunda and his guide Lucas Mathonat in Para athletics.
For the others, as the Games approach, our athletes have one goal in mind: Paris2024! Every day, training intensifies as they aim to qualify and excel in upcoming international competitions.
Tanguy de la Forest once again proved his talent at the recent world championships in the United Arab Emirates, winning gold and setting a new world record. Our fencer, Romain Cannone, won the gold medal at the last World Cup in Georgia. Marie Patouillet was runner-up in the Para-cycling track world championships in Rio de Janeiro in March. These achievements are an immense source of pride! Unfortunately, Aurélie Muller will not have the opportunity to represent France, but we will closely follow the upcoming challenges of this talented athlete. We will keep you regularly updated on the results of the qualifying competitions for all our athletes via LinkedIn.
Our goal is Paris 2024, and each of these athletes has the potential to inspire and thrill us!
Stay tuned for all the latest news from the Group.
