Since 2017, the Samsic Group has been the co-sponsor of the Breton cycling team Arkea-Samsic.
To celebrate the 2021 Tour de France, a special competition was organised for the entire head office staff in Cesson-Sévigné.
The challenge? Taking part in the race by pedalling on a connected smart-bike while answering questions about bicycle racing and the Tour de France, for the chance to win prizes.
This collaborative event, which promotes value of sport and of challenging ourselves, also has a charitable purpose. For each kilometre covered Samsic made a contribution to the two charities "Vaincre la Mucoviscidose" and "Emeraude Voile Solidaire".
"Vaincre la Mucoviscidose" is the leading charity funding Cystic Fibrosis research in France, supporting patients and families and raising awareness of the fight against this genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time.
"Emeraude Voile Solidaire" is a French non-profit association organising sea trips for vulnerable people suffering from illnesses, all forms of disability, exclusion or poverty.
