Increasingly innovative projects

MPM - Emalec is committed to permanent innovation and offers services in areas such as full or partial repair for cutting-machine tools; renovation and integration of new features to existing machines; and retooling traditional machines. In a bid to create increasingly environmentally-friendly processes, MPM - Emalecs' engineering department is working on a cryogenic machining solution which is also conducive to developing the circular economy.

MPM Emalec is committed to the integration of young people into the professional world

MPM - Emalec has asserted its aim to contribute to regional development by supporting local employment in Saint-Etienne. Given that MPM - Emalecs' aim is to increase its workforce by 30% in 2019, a concrete recruitment plan, in line with Emalec's HR management team, has been implemented. Partnerships have been developed in this sense, in particular with two council-run technical training institutes: the Centre de Formation d’Apprentis de l’Industrie and the Institut Régional Universitaire Polytechnique de formation. The objective is to train four to five students for one year before employing them. Students will follow a module of 130 hours per year on machine tooling professions. The first session begins in September 2019.
