The Expleo Group and Samsic Emploi Skills Development Center was created with the key aim of recruiting and training job seekers to return to employment whilst meeting specific business needs. The staffing* project meets our aim to always focus on people. It is also a response to the current industrial sector talent drain.
Back to employment with targeted training
It is within this overall context of a shortage of profiles corresponding to its recruitment needs that the Expleo Group recently signed a partnership with its Skills Development Center and Samsic Emploi.
Expleo Group aims to help job seekers find employment by offering them targeted training programs financed by the Préparation Opérationnelle à l’Emploi Collectif (operational preparation for collective employment), a scheme proposed by our OPCA (accredited fund-collecting agency), the Fond d’assurance de Formation du Travail Temporaire (temporary work training insurance fund) and Pôle emploi (French employment agency).
In this context, Samsic Emploi's main task is to identify and put forward candidates who have the required and predefined behavioural and technical skills as outlined by Expleo Group.
The first "Methods technician" session was launched in Toulouse on 3 December 2018. Out of 30 job-seeker candidates proposed by Samsic Emploi, a total of 11 were selected to take a training program which will lead to an Expleo Group position: a six-month temporary assignment followed by a permanent contract.
After a 400-hour training program, nine candidates joined the Group after carrying out a temporary assignment on 11 March 2018.
Given the success of the training session, Expleo Group teams will repeat the experience in Toulouse and Vitrolles in the coming months. Expleo Group's management team has given the green light for the staffing project to be rolled out on a national level. In so doing, the Group will be able to meet its business activity needs in its various sectors.
Expleo Group provides specialist services in innovation, consulting and complex infrastructure engineering for sectors such as aeronautics, space, automotive, rail, naval, defence, life science, energy and nuclear power.
Staffing is a Human Resources activity which aims to provide different departments with the right people, in adequate numbers, so that a company strategic plan may be successfully carried out.
